Growing up, I spent nearly every weekend at my grandmother’s house. She had a beautiful swag lamp that I was completely fascinated by as a little girl, with its dangling gold chain and tiny balls at the ends that glimmered when the lamp was lit, each panel framed by elegant elongated arches with gently curved edges. Now that she’s gone that lamp lives in my home. It always will.
When it came time to design a pattern I kept coming back to that lamp. Those elongated arches became the O at the heart of the Showplace Drive logo. And that O became the building block of Homage, the pattern that pays homage to my grandmother.
Homage Grand takes that same O and lets it breathe. Scaled up and more open, built for spaces that want presence without pattern overload. The ball chain dot is still there if you look for it.
